Admission requirements to enroll BSc programs:

The student applying in any of the University’s programs should adhere to this application process, whether they intend BSc degree or a Certificate or a Diploma course.
The applicant should have completed the secondary school and should have the General Certificate of Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education with high grades in the sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), Mathematics and English. It is preferable that the student should have an average of more than 65%.
The student should pass an Entry Examination, generally on sciences, maths and English. The applying student should attain an average of 65%.
Applicants requiring to enroll a part-time course arrangement, an experience of two years is the minimum. The experience should relate to the subject being enrolled in.

The required admission documents:

The applicant should fill in the Application Form to enroll in the University. The student should bring the original certificate and two copies of the certificate. The applying student should also bring in an original birth certificate, or a passport, proving the identity of the person. Copies of these documents are required since the originals will return to the applicant. Four passport-size photos are required as part of the application requirements.

Student intake

Student intake usually occurs in the months of August to start the semester that begins in September or in January to register for the semester of February. Please see the admission process of the University of Almaas.
