Hands-On Training in Rocks, Minerals & Soils
The Geology Lab houses an extensive reference collection of rock, mineral, and soil samples — from gravel and sedimentary specimens to classified mineral cabinets — giving students direct, hands-on exposure to the materials they study in class.
The lab supports the Faculty of Geosciences and Environment's programs, including Geological Sciences, Water Resources, and Petroleum Geology, preparing students for fieldwork and Somalia's natural resources sector.
